Topside conditions looked promising for a Sunday dive. Lee had been in slightly before us setting a float for his class and noted only @10ft. of visibility, we decided to go in with the hopes visibility would open deeper.

    It didn’t…

After a long, long, long walk out due to very low tide, we had mostly 8-10ft visibility all the way down to @ 70ft. Water temp was 54F at depth. Did manage to see some critters we had not seen at Vets in some time – a couple pipe fish and small horn sharks. So it was nice to see those back. On our safety stop, we did manage a sea lion encounter and saw a 4ft shovel-nosed guitar fish hiding in the sand.

It was a long, long, long walk out too…
Joe Raemer came to dive after OML was blown-out and Kenneth stopped by to chew the fat too. Not a bad morning…

Cool – nice to see multiple DV divers referencing each other.

Glad to see you were able to get wet Chris.

Yeah. And I even went diving too.  😉

Wow an actual dive report from Vets. I didn’t think anyone did these any more. Glad to see you were able to get wet Chris.
